Monthly Health Outlook:  The Sun in Scorpio

 This month the Sun enters into Scorpio on October 22.  As the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer, the darkness increasingly dominates our inner and outer reality.  The Sun-filled days of Spring and Summer are over and the lengthening shadows of Fall and Winter are here. 

The Scorpion is the sign of the zodiac that represents the shadow side of life.  Even though most people misunderstand Scorpio, it truly does rule sex, death, and the dark side of life.  The ancient Celtic festival of Samhain is celebrated while the Sun is in Scorpio.  Halloween, our modern version of this celebration, is also coming up.
