The Full Moon falls in Sagittarius on June 7. The Gemini Sun opposed to the Sagittarius Moon stimulates the polarity of mind. The Archer rules the higher wisdom mind and Gemini expresses through the lower practical mind. With the lunation cycle reaching its climax, there is a need to first gain wisdom and understanding and then translate it into practical application.

Many people right now are confused, disoriented, and do not understand what is going on. The world is turned upside down. Things that used to work aren’t working anymore. This Full Moon is here to help us now to see the big picture and understand the deeper laws of life that want to activate our latent wisdom. The inherent imperative of growth and evolution trumps the superficialities of everyday life. The existing order is dying and a new consciousness and cultural paradigm is being born.

The Full Moon falls in Scorpio on May 8^th this month. The Sun/Taurus and Moon/Scorpio polarity accentuates the need for change. The Sun in Taurus supports new beginnings in money and finances. The Moon in Scorpio is creating stimulus for change.

There is a need, both individually and collectively, for change in our relationship with money. Scorpio rules debt and borrowed money. We need to get out of debt and stop living beyond our means. This applies to individuals, corporations, and governments. The current financial crisis is a debt bomb that is in the process of de-leveraging the financial world. It will take years before this process is completed and the financial situation is brought back to earth. Then we can rebuild on a new, solid foundation. This Full Moon is about the need for change in perspective and action to economize, pay off our debt, and put our finances in order.

The Full Moon falls in Libra on April 9. The Aries/Sun and Libra/Moon polarity is highlighted now. The Sun in Aries initiates the beginning of a new solar cycle of life experience. The celebration of Spring Equinox several weeks ago stimulated the forces of life and rebirth, bringing a sense of vitality.

The primary keyword of Aries is I Am. It creates the opportunity to take a step forward in unfolding a more evolved sense of self. Self-discovery and self-actualization are important themes now. The Full Moon in Libra demands that individuality must be manifested within the social context. Libra’s fundamental keyword is We Are and it emphasizes the consciousness of right relationship between people.

The Full Moon falls in Virgo on March 10. The Pisces/Virgo polarity emphasizes spiritual service. The Sun in Pisces inspires us to open our hearts and enliven the consciousness of love. The spiritual love of Pisces is an all-inclusive, idealistic force that is deeper and broader than our usual experience. It is an opportunity to break the boundaries that hold us back from a meaningful encounter with the world. It is a truly uplifting energy.

The Moon is in opposition to the Sun in Virgo. The Virgin is a practical, grounded earth sign. Its ruling planet, Mercury, is going to support the mental and rational approach to life. The passion of Virgo is the quest for truth. Its natural expression is in the realm of ideas and their application to real situations. The challenge is how to correctly balance and integrate the ideal with the real, the theory with practice.

The Full Moon this month falls in Leo on February 9. This is also the occasion for a lunar eclipse. Eclipses of the Moon are often experienced as an increased intensity of emotions. During these events there is a greater tendency for us to be negatively influenced by the shadow side of life. It is good to be more conscious during these times.

The Leo Moon is polarizing the Sun in Aquarius. There is a significant concentration of planets in The Waterbearer’s sign now. Besides the Sun and Mars, Jupiter, Dragon’s Head and Neptune are all in Aquarius. This multiplicity of forces wants to be original, creative, and try new approaches to old issues. It is time to take our blinders off, let go of conventional thinking, and work outside the box. The Moon in Leo is in opposition to these planets, reflecting their energy.
